Occupation: Master Fetish Trainer, Adult Entertainer, Musician

Location: Florida

King Noire is one of the creators of Royal Fetish Films, an award-winning adult production company that showcases black and queer sexuality. He also performs in front of the camera as a porn star and works with private clients as a Master Fetish Trainer. He lives with his growing family in Florida.

The Sex in My Business: All my businesses revolve around sex. I wanted my porn company to produce better representation of marginalized people, as sex has been used to denigrate and vilify people of color. My partner and business associate Jasmine and I wanted to take control over that narrative and create a medium that illuminates black joy, black pleasure, and authentic expressions of love. With my work as a Master Fetish Trainer, I help people safely unlock their fetishes and explore their limits. It’s my job to help them find new ways to enjoy intimacy and hidden desires without shame.

A Typical Day: My days are busy. When I’m not taking care of my kids or helping my pregnant partner, I promote my work on social media, edit new scenes, post on OnlyFans, book photographers, scout new shooting locations, buy new equipment — basically all the vanilla work required to make quality sexual content. Besides that, I try to exercise five days a week, which is much easier when I’m traveling alone for shoots or sessions with clients. Altogether, my days vary but I always take time for my creative projects, whether writing lyrics or editing my work.

The Best Part: The money. I enjoy the financial stability my businesses have provided. I also love opening people up to new experiences and reducing the rampant sexual shame in our culture. Life is hard, and it’s a joy to bring beauty and pleasure into people’s lives. There are so many ways we bring ourselves down — so much self-loathing around having particular fetishes, sexual fantasies, or same-sex attractions. I feel proud to normalize desires among consenting adults.

The Worst Part: The hate and vitriol thrown at sex workers. It’s tough to read ugly comments online, or to see the anger directed at me, my partner, and other sex workers. People are always trying to tell black folks what to do with their bodies and queer folks that their desires are unnatural. On a larger scale, it’s difficult to work in an industry that’s constantly under scrutiny from politicians who’d rather make empty promises to reduce human trafficking than actually do anything to curtail forced labor. Ultimately, I know that hatred and fear of sex work are misguided and boil down to people being uncomfortable with their own bodies and desires, but it’s still challenging to face.

How I Got Here: I was kicked out of the house when I was 17. At 18, I started taking erotic photographs for a friend for money. She was an adult entertainer and needed pictures for her work. She wanted someone she could trust to photograph her, not some random guy off the internet. From there, people contacted me for photoshoots. As word spread, I started receiving requests to be a dominant cuckold. I did that for a few years, but didn’t like the class structure in the industry nor how people of color were treated. Eventually, I started working private erotic dance parties. Around this time I met my partner Jasmine, and we started doing parties together. Clients would ask us why they couldn’t find porn where black people were as intensely passionate as we were. So, we started making our own.

What Society Thinks: Outwardly, society harbors many negative preconceptions about sex workers. We’re either dirty, shameful people or victims who need to be rescued. There isn’t a collective understanding that sex work is work, that consensual adult entertainment is not trafficking, and that forced labor is something that exists in many industries. But inwardly, everyone loves us. The sex industry is a huge business because people enjoy having us in their lives — we connect them to their bodies and offer a much-needed escape.

When I’m Not at Work: I love hanging out with my partner and friends. I get lots of exercise and love, love, love all the sunshine and natural beauty in Florida. I try to get outside as much as I can. I’ve been working on molding my dick into a dildo, which has been an exciting project to take on. I also read, watch movies, and listen to music.
